VILLA OLIVIA is a secluded oceanfront private villa surrounded by pristine beaches and exotic jungle on the Coast of Nayarit, just north of Puerto Vallarta and 10 minutes south of the quaint fishing village of Sayulita. Our area of the coastline has been designated by the Mexican federal government as an ecological preserve for the protection of nesting sea turtles, birds, and other wildlife. The property is lush with mature trees and palms, banana trees, tropical flowers and vegetation. Villa Olivia was formerly featured in OUTSIDE MAGAZINE as one of the international "100 Absolute Best Getaways," and offers an exceptionally unique, romantic, and "magical" vacation experience in a spectacularly beautiful tropical oceanfront setting. Most families remark upon leaving that their stay at Villa Olivia was one of their most memorable family vacations because of the togetherness and bonding they experienced, away from the many distractions in other spots.

VILLA OLIVIA was originally designed and constructed in the 1980's by a prominent Mexican family from Guadalajara as a vacation home. The villa is comprised of individual bungalows or "casitas", nestled on the hillside leading down to the pool and private beach. The villa was designed in the traditional Mexican style with whitewashed walls, high beamed ceilings, red tile roofs, terracota floors, classical "talavera" tiled bathrooms, balconies and patios, winding cobblestone walkways and stairways.

Villa Olivia is available for rental by the day (4 day minimum except during holiday times) or by the week, by one family or group, as either a 3 or 4 bedroom property. Each of the "casita" suites has a private entrance, spacious bedroom, bath, built-in king size bed with double mattresses and lovely white gauze canopy, private patio or balcony. A 30 ft. high "palapa" (thatched palm roof) living and dining area overlooks the ocean and is the perfect spot for whale, dolphin, and bird watching while enjoying breakfast and magnificent tropical sunsets in the evening. The spacious kitchen is fully equipped and has an amazing view of the coast! The overall feeling at Villa Olivia is secluded, intimate, relaxed, unpretentious, and charming.
